Downer's Grove Mopar Cruise Night - July 31, 2009

Downtown Downer's Grove.. Not sure what time.. Guessing 6-9?

me, vic, and jackie are goin. I go to downers almost every week. i have to go right from work so ill get there late around 7 or 7:30. if you want a spot in the mopar section you have to get there before 6. its on a side street, it begins with a c but i forget the name.

The show is from 6 to 9 pm but the thing is the featured cars that park on Curtis St have to be 1980 and older so we are out. I was planning on going this week since the featured cars are going to be Chrylsers/ Mopars. Have to work that morning but will meet up with those that are going whenever.

they are not strict about that at all. you should have seen vette night. there was a new ZR-1 and a bunch of new vettes on the feature street.

Ah. I was there that night but never made it to Curtis St. Cool then whoever wants to get there early speak up and I will try to put together a meeting place and time.

We're going. Vic and I are gonna try to leave early from work on Friday to make it there before six. The Chally went in today to get the new front fascia replaced so hopefully it will be back before then, if not, we are driving together.....WOOT!

Jackie let me know what time you guys are going to head out and I will try to just meet up with you guys. Or do you want me to find a meeting place?

Jackie I will bring my laptop on friday and one of the goobers can give you a lesson. I am at work until 3 on Friday (god willing I never get out on time when I work mornings) so I can meet up with you guys and clean the car or something. Just doesn't make sense for me to go all the way home.

Unless my houseguest is coming back that day. Then I will need to go back for a bit, need to make sure he doesn't steal any of my stuff.

We will figure it out.

Ok lets plan on meeting at the Culver's on Odgen by 5:00 pm, roll out no later then 5:15 pm. If you take 355 and exit on to Odgen its less then a half mile down on the left side. I am about 99% sure there is a light so it will be easy to get in and out of.

If we want to try to get a spot on the road we need to get there early. If you guys want to eat Ballydoyle is awesome and you can see a lot of cars from their place.

there are better places than the bally doyle if you want to be outside. there are bars that open to the street a block or so closer to the train tracks.

That's true. I guess the early people will get there and decide and then I will shoot you a text so you know where we are.
