Do you have to remove the spark plugs to remove the valve covers??? i know this is probably a dumb question and the answer is probably yes...

You don't have to I believe, at least on mine recently I didn't have to. The plugs screw into the head, they stay in those tubes. I left my plugs in for now until I install my uhhhhhh "redone" valve covers... this is how they stay on, at least on my 6, the hemi may be different, I dunno...

It says 1 hour per side to replace gaskets, so they can't be TOO bad......

It ACTUALLY says 0.9 hr per side for replacing the gaskets, we use Alldata here

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect battery negative cable.
2. Disconnect ignition coil connector (1).
3. Remove ignition coil retaining bolts (3).
4. Remove ignition coil (1).
5. Remove cylinder head cover retaining bolts.
6. Remove cylinder head cover (1).

I take it they are calling the valve cover the "cylinder head cover".
