Go Karts anyone? Oct 10

Ok so since a few of us snuck off and rode go-karts the other day and now we want to go back we decided to be nice and invite everyone this time. Everyone is welcome and it’s a kid friendly place.

They have almost EVERYTHING and it’s a really cool place.

The website has all the stuff they have, but for those that do not want to click on the link here are the things that I think our group would be interested in doing.

- Bandit Racing Karts- you have to have a driver’s license to drive these $6 for 5 mins of racing
- Mini Indy Karts- age 10 and up, $5 for 5 mins

*IF there is enough interest there are group packages that I can look into but I would need to know no later then October 5th

- Batting Cages 15 hits for $1 and only Jackie has to wear a helmet
- Outdoor Mini Golf 15 holes, $4.50 for age 13 to 54, $3.50 for 13 and under and 55 and up
- Evening Skate from 7 pm to 11 pm $6.50 to get in $2.50 to rent standard skates, $3 for inline
- The have a 20 lane bowling alley, $4.25 a game and $3.25 shoes, you can also rent a lane for an hour, info on the site.
- Blacklight Mini Golf, indoors, 9 holes $4, if you want to play additional rounds its $2

They also have an arcade, food, and bumper cars (no info on price on the web)

They take cash and credit. They have a big enough parking lot where we can all park together too.

Umm anything else I don’t think so. I guess I went overboard with the info again.

Hope some of ya’ll can make it out. Will be a fun day before we spend all day Sunday tearing up Adam’s shop.

WE rode these the other night and when we got done it felt like someone kicked the shit outta us damn I am old lol...

Bumping this for this weekend.

Would like to start to get a list going. I know its far out but looking at the weather its going to be partly cloudy and the high is 47. I will call them and see what the cut off point is for them not running the karts. If we can't do karts there are tons of things to do inside and I know a few of you guys told me yesterday you want to see Zombieland so we can do that if no karts.

So post up and let me know if you are in so I can figure out if we can get group rates on things.

There's a cheap movie theatre not far away.. I wouldn't mind seeing that also.

Shawn you may be able to get the movie for home viewing but watching a movie with the CAMM crew, well, you can't really put a price on that now can ya?

I'm picturing Kramer video-taping this movie for us. "Oh, man, I sat in gum!"

Talked to Funway and they will have the track open if the sun is out and its above 60.... but I know it was not 60 when we rode them a few weeks ago. They said to call back the day of and see what is going on. Just bring stuff to bundle up if we do get to ride.

I work Sat but only until 1 pm so I can call before I leave work and see what they say and post up. We can either meet up at Funway and do something else at the park if the karts are out or we can head over to the movie theater.


Edited to add second email: This will be the last weekend for the karts. We will open the track as long as it's 60 degrees and warmer with no rain. It's not looking very good for the weather but it is only Tuesday so you never know.
