GLD Sept 30th

Why not less than 60? My Jeep loves the cold!

RWD and too much power for a cold track.. Traction will be a major issue.

If you go I'll let you take the Jeep down the track.

Ok so weather is looking good, a little chilly but I still think it will be good. Won't be on the board much today or tomorrow but I will check it around noon to see what's up. But as of right now I am still planning on making the trip up there.

You better rotate those tires if you're going to run on a cold track..

I hear ya. I've just kinda gotten used to that paycheck thing every couple of weeks.

I can't rotate my tires on the Jeep they are staggered. I am sure I will hook just fine.

Bill I understand that feeding the family has to be #1. Hopefully we can get together another time.

I was meaning Crystal on the tire rotation.. She's riding on some pretty used up tires.

awd tires are staggered? what are you running? is the awd symmetrical or like a 40/60 split?

Front are 255/45 rear are 285/40. These are stock Goodyears. I believe the split is greater than 40/60. Are you racing tomorrow?

I know I am kinda worried about the tires but its too late now I am here until 11 pm and right back in at 530 am. If they feel crappy after the first run I willl be done for the day, sucks but I can't risk tearing something up.

I ran last year when it was cold and my tires were pretty worn out. Almost to the point where the belt was gonna start popping through. The guy almost didnt let me run cuz he was worried I was gonna have a blowout while I did my burnout. Everything went fine though and the track was really sticky.

Matt when we went last year at this time it was cold out and the track was pretty sticky.

GLD is on. After the night I am having and the day I am going to have tomorrow it is necessary that Ares and I go to the track.

I am shooting to bail at 2 pm but I have end of month stratiges I have to create and a huge project due tomorrow. Jackie just give me a call when you get out and see where I am. I am planning on heading straight up there from here, not meeting anyone.

Unless anyone wants to meet up over by my work. I am in Elmhurst right near 290 so I can pick a spot and we can meet up and go. I have been hesitant to do that because I know that 99% of the time I never get out of here on time but tomorrow they will have to tie me to the desk.
